Join us for the Canadian Acoustics Conference 2025, a national gathering of professionals, researchers, and industry leaders exploring the science, practice, and impact of acoustics.

This year, the Alberta Acoustics, Noise & Vibration Society (AANViS) is proud to partner with the Canadian Acoustical Association (CAA) as part of Acoustics Week in Canada, bringing a nationally focused and highly practical program to Calgary.

Across two days of engaging sessions, attendees will experience a carefully curated lineup of technical talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities covering the full spectrum of acoustics.

What’s On:

• Main Presentation Program: Explore a wide range of topics including environmental noise, architectural acoustics, building performance, soundscape design, vibration, modelling, health impacts, and more. Learn from leading voices working across consulting, government, academia, and product development.
• Panel Discussions: Hear diverse perspectives and expert insights on emerging issues and challenges in the industry, from noise policy and regulation to community engagement and future trends.
• Speech and Audiology Focused Session: A dedicated stream will run on October 15, featuring presentations related to speech perception, audiology, psychoacoustics, and communication in complex environments.
• Introductory Acoustics Course: Half day on Oct 15. Designed for students, junior professionals, and anyone looking to strengthen their foundational knowledge of acoustics, this course covers essential theory, terminology, and practical examples.
• Evening Social Event: Join us Thursday evening (October 16) for a casual networking event with food, drinks, and entertainment, a great opportunity to connect with peers and unwind after a day of learning.
