Join Concordia Symphony Orchestra and conductor Danielle Lisboa for the performance of Canada Strong on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The show celebrates Canadian identity in all its might with performances by Chorale Saint-Jean led by conductor Laurier Fagnan and inspiring poetry readings selected and recited by Dr. Reginald Wiebe.
The Canadian repertoire will showcase Kevin Lau’s For Home, Andrew Kesler’s Suite for the Prairies, Andrew Balfour’s Kiwetin-acahkos (North Star) “Fanfare for the peoples of the North”, and France Levasseur-Ouimet’s Parlez-moi and J'appartiens, among other works.

The audience is encouraged to dress in red and white colours.
Advance tickets are available at Eventbrite ($20 for general admission and $15 for students). Family rate: $40 (available at the door only). Paid parking is available on campus.
