The Invermere Legion and the District of Invermere will sponsor the Canada Day Parade for the 2024 year. “Better Together.” We would like to have the support of all the Columbia Valley to help us celebrate.
Do you have a community group or organization that you would like to promote? Are you the coach or organizer of an amazing team, or sports organization? Dance troupe? Cultural organization? Local business or non-profit agency? Get together, decorate your float and join the 2024 Canada Day Parade!
To help with the parade entries we ask that you register your entry, via email to [email protected] or phone 250-342-9281 ext.1232, alerting us as to youth, club, group, business name, estimated number of persons participating.
We will form up on 9th Avenue beside Pothole Park at 10:00 am. The Parade will start from 5A Street at 11:00 a.m. through the main street of Invermere, turning right at the corner of 7th Ave & 13th St. Dispersal will be at the corner of CIBC.
