Canada Day events are back this July 1 at numerous Downtown locations: 📍The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland (formerly Fort Calgary 750 9 Ave. S.E.)
📍St. Patrick’s Island (1300 Zoo Rd. N.E.)
📍Olympic Plaza/Municipal Building (222 8 Ave. S.W.)
Celebrate Canada Day and enjoy a day of free performances and activities that highlight our country’s diversity, including live music, dance, cultural booths, food trucks and fireworks.

Highlights:
🕚 11 am-5 pm at The Confluence: An Indigenous showcase and powwow celebrating Indigenous culture through music and dance.
Also, visit The Teaching Tipis and Trapper’s Tent, with five tipis and one trappers tent featuring various topics for discussion and learning.
Explore local Indigenous culture and stories shared through arts and creativity at the Indigenous Artisans Market.
🕚 11am-5pm at St. Patrick’s Island – family-friendly entertainment including music, arts, activities and plenty of outdoor space to play, eat & enjoy the day.
🕟 11am - 5pm at Olympic Plaza/Municipal Building Plaza – join the family fun at the Children’s Art Activity tent,
🕟 4-6pm - Take in a variety of cultural performances by @yycArts
🕟 4:30 -11pm at The Confluence Main Stage Evening Show – all Canadian line-up of musical performances with emcee Megan Pierson, plus Keys N Krates will electrify you, headlining at 10 pm.
🕚 11pm – Fireworks from Stampede Park
