There is a growing body of research and evidence that the arts can be a powerful force for wellbeing, healing, and resilience. They have the potential to impact our everyday emotional state and even help with trauma recovery. Neuroscientists are now studying ‘our unique response to aesthetic experiences’ and how our bodies and brains can be transformed by the arts in a beneficial way. Learn more and discuss with others in small groups what impact the arts have on us, whether it be art, poetry, literature, theatre, music, film, or sculpture. Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Le Barocco courtyard café in Geneva’s Musée d’Art et d’Histoire on the 27th September. What better place to discuss the power of the arts to move and even heal us? Come before 15H to get a drink and dress for a covered though open air café.
ConsciousCafe is a global voluntary initiative providing a friendly place for meaningful and respectful discussion on themes that lead to self-awareness and personal growth. The format is that you buy your own drinks and we ask for a 5chf contribution to running costs payable in cash or by Twint.
ConsciousCafe Geneva est en anglais, mais si votre niveau d’anglais est assez bon pour participer aux conversations, ConsciousCafe Geneva vous accueille.
