The aim of this CAMRAmble is to appeal to people who would like to stretch their legs on a walk and those of more limited mobility who would like to use the Bus. The route starts at the New Delight Inn at Jack Bridge in Blackshaw Head above Hebden Bridge. People can then walk down the Colden Valley to visit the two pubs in Heptonstall or catch the local bus to precede the walkers. Having enjoyed The White Lion and the Cross Inn walkers can then descend to the Fox and Goose over the Butress whilst other can catch the bus down the hill. Then we can all walk to the Stubbings Wharf down the road and then back along the canal into Hebden for a final drink in Nightjar before dispersing round Hebden and catching the bus home.Total distance for the walkers 3.7 miles.
