Bring them to Home Movie Day at the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg, PA!Join us for a fun, hands-on educational event where we celebrate the art and memory of home filmmaking. Whether your movies are on 8mm, Super 8, 16mm (single or double perf), 35mm, MiniDV, VHS, S-VHS, Digital 8, VHS-C, BetaCam, and 3/4" U-Matic (Broadcast)—we’ll be there to help.
📽 Our team of film enthusiasts, projectionists, and experts will:
✔ Inspect your films and tapes
✔ Project them on the big screen (if they’re safe to run!)
✔ Offer guidance on how to properly store, preserve, and digitize your memories
This is a free community event designed to help you reconnect with your personal film history while learning how to keep it alive for generations to come. No registration required—just show up with your reels and tapes!

At the Campus Theatre, we are passionate about the collection, inspection, and preservation of vintage video and film formats. While Home Movie Day is a time to celebrate this process of discovery, it’s important to note that thorough evaluation and digitization can be time-consuming and may not be completed in a single day or even a year.
We warmly invite you to bring your home movies to the theatre, where our team will be available for consultation, basic inspection, and—when possible—on-site projection of select clips. Although we can’t guarantee immediate or complete service, we’re committed to helping you better understand what you have and how to preserve it.
This event is an opportunity for discussion, discovery, and connection—a first step in unlocking the stories stored on your media. We look forward to learning about your collection with you and answering any questions you may have.
