The annual "Day of Fire" is a CAAB tradition where scouts burn driftwood for 12 hours the second Saturday in January. Scouts can earn three conservation service hours or stay the entire 12 hours. There are bragging rights for anyone working the entire 12 and a patch for anyone working 3 hours. We also repurpose Christmas Trees as fish habitats.
