About this Event
Attend our free camping workshop to learn expert tips, including responsible camping practices, and how to pitch a tent! We will also share resources on how and where to camp in Kern County. No reservation required. Meet at Wind Wolves Preserve Administrative Center.
Free transportation is available to the program from Bakersfield! Board our charter bus at 801 Niles Street (the Boys and Girls Club), which departs at 9:00 am. Estimated return time is 12:30 pm.
Riding the provided transportation is not necessary to join our camping workshop.
SCHEDULE
- 8:45am - 9:00 am | Load bus at 801 Niles Street
- 9:00 am | Bus departs for Wind Wolves Preserve
- 10:00 am - 11:30 am | Camp Workshop (Meet at the Administrative Center parking lot)
- 11:30 am - 11:40 pm | Load bus & depart from Wind Wolves Preserve
- 12:30 pm | Bus arrives at 801 Niles Street
