We are camping with the Baraboo Chapter of KAMO, as we did last year at Castle Rock County Park. KAMO will provide tents, food, beverages, and transportation for the kids. Kids need to bring clothes, personal items, a pillow, and a sleeping bag (we may have extras if needed). Also pack swim gear, if desired, as there is a beautiful natural lake in the park. Fishing from shore is also an option using KAMO fishing gear or your own.
We will leave on Friday afternoon and return Sunday afternoon.
Please email [email protected] if your KAMO Kid is interested in attending the camping weekend by May 28th to allow plenty of time for planning. I will create a list of interested KAMO Kids on a first come first serve basis since space may be limited.
P.S. Currently, there are open campsites in the park if a KAMO Family decides they also want to go. Sites near our group site include sites 166, 169, 170, and 172, among others. A family would need to make their own reservation if desired using the website listed above. The campground often fills up quickly. Again, let me know if you have any questions about this.
