Camp United Nations for Girls San Francisco 2025 introduces girls to work of the United Nations and international policy. Camp United Nations begins with a lesson on the history of the United Nations and the organization’s purpose. This is followed by a study of the structure, leadership, and the rules of procedure of the United Nations. Each student will be given an assignment to serve as a delegate for a UN Member State. When the General Assembly convenes delegates will propose a resolution. The resolution will be subject to negotiation and amendment by the UN Delegates before a vote on a final version of the resolution.
