Camp Tejas Advance 2022

"CONNECTING TO THE HEART OF THE FATHER"

This is the phrase the Lord gave us about the upcoming Camp Tejas Advance. We believe it is a theme and prophetic word for what God has in store for us at Camp Tejas in 2022. Through prayer, worship, and biblical teachings, we believe you will connect more closely with the Father and see his heart for you, your family, and the lost.

NORTH TEXAS BIBLICAL STUDIES (NTBS) is excited to sponsor another weekend in God’s Word at Camp Tejas near Giddings, Texas on May 13 – May 15, 2022. A part from the normal sessions, there will be time for fellowship, breaking of bread and recreational activities.

Housing:

• We will be lodging in Camp Tejas' all inclusive facilities.
• We will make every effort to have single family housing, but smaller families may be housed together. Singles will be housed together.

Meals:

• Our meals will be served by the Camp Tejas dining staff in the dining facility. Our first meal will be served on Saturday morning and meal service will conclude with Sunday lunch. Friday evening meal and snacks will be coordinated by NTBS.

Payment Information:

• Prices listed below cover housing and all meals for the entire weekend.
• Adults: $100.00 per person
• Children ages 4 to 17 years: $50.00
• Giving Option - NTBS is subsidizing this event. For those that are able and blessed to do so, we are including a giving option that you may choose to help offset costs. This option will be $150.00 per adult. (If you select this option, you DO NOT need to purchase a regular adult ticket as well).

* If financial assistance is needed, please contact Daniel or Stacy. We don’t want finances to stop anyone from coming and receiving from God!

Deadline:

The registration deadline will be May 1, 2022. Sign-ups and housing are on a first come, first served basis.

Schedule:

• Registration will open at 4:00 pm on Friday, May 13. The opening fellowship will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday. The advance will conclude at approximately 12 noon after the Sunday morning fellowship on May 15, 2022.

Children’s Fellowship:

• Fellowship for children between the ages of 3 and 12 will be available during some teaching sessions. If you have a child that will be participating in children’s fellowship, you are expected to also take part and help coordinate the activities during at least one children’s fellowship.

Activities:

• Besides the times in fellowship, we plan to have a hayride, campfire and other activities.

*Saturday afternoon will be dedicated to free time. Camp Tejas offers a variety of outdoor and indoor activities.

Transportation:

There are two options if you are flying in for the weekend.

• -Houston airport (IAH) is approximately 115 miles from Camp Tejas.
• -Austin airport (AUS) is about 56 miles from Camp Tejas.

Note: No camp sponsored transportation to and from the airports will be provided. However, NTBS will help coordinate rides with other believers attending the weekend.

Camp Rules/Covid 19 Policies:

• No pets, no alcohol. The camp has additional rules for their premises, along with Covid 19 procedures and policies for ours and their employees' safety. Once you register, we will send out additional details on this, along with a release form from the camp.
