About this Event
Bata Sole is 501c3 non profit based in Chicago, IL whose mission is to collect an distribute new or gently used sneakers to impoverished communities all over the globe. In the last 5 years , Bata Sole has distributed over 1400 pairs of sneakers to local communities and poverty stricken communities overseas.
With Camp Sole- We teach the youth key fundamentals of Basketball while providing them an experience that highlights the importance of giving back to those who need it the most. During our camps- we accept shoe donations from participants and their families.
3 Groups -Ages 3-18
Pre Registration May 30th - June 5th - $15 donation ( includes jersey )
Standard Registration ends June 19th - $25 donation (includes jersey)
Late Registration -$40 donation
CAMP BREAKDOWN
Group 1 Ages 3-6
10:30am -12pm
Intro to basketball, balance and body awareness, motor skills, hand-eye coordination
Pizza and shoe restoration included in session
Group 2 Ages 7-11
12:30pm - 2pm
Basketball terminology, basic concepts, gross motor movement
Pizza and shoe restoration included in session
Group 3 Ages 12-18
2:30pm-4pm
Fundamental development, partner work, shooting and dribbling with skills
Pizza and shoe restoration included in session
