Side Saddle Camp North is the ultimate opportunity to take a huge leap forward on your side saddle journey. It is open to riders of all ages and abilities with training catered to your needs. If you want to work on your jumping, Equitation, turnout or just want to sharpen up for the 2025 showing season, we have what you need.
Fully catered with 4 of the best side saddle instructors in the business, it’s your chance to learn from the best while meeting up with lots of like minded side saddle enthusiasts from all across the UK.
You will turn up for your first lesson on the Friday and receive your massive camp goody bag. There will be a morning and afternoon individual lesson on the Saturday. The Camp Show takes place on the Sunday with separate Open and Novice rings, Junior, Novice and Open Championships and lots of beautiful sashes, rosettes and silverware up for grabs. There will be something for everyone so even if showing isn’t your thing or it’s your first time trying it, don’t worry, we’ll have you show ready.
The evenings will be filled with activity including a Prosecco Reception, the world famous Penny Clarke Quiz Night and Camp Karaoke. We are so excited to have campers from SSA Areas 1, 2, 6, 19 and 21 joining us so far this year so it is only right that we hold an Area 9 versus the Rest of the World Side Saddle Hobby Horse Ride Off!! We’re even going to have some Pilates sessions so you can stretch off between lessons and keep yourself in tip top shape.
