Camp Historic Arkansas: Merry Makers
For rising 4th through 6th graders
July 14 – 18
9 am – 3 pm
$100 ($65 for museum members); includes lunch and a camp t-shirt; scholarships available
Get crafty at Camp Historic Arkansas as you learn about historic trades. Step into the shoes of 19th century tradespeople and create pottery, stamp leather, carve wood, print on the old-fashioned press and work with textiles. You’ll also learn to dance the Virginia Reel and how to survey land. At the end of the week, parents will be invited to a pizza party and a craft show – with all the things made by you!
