Let's get some relief from the heat in this shady wooded forest preserve. The entrance is off of Algonquin Road. Drive to the end of the road to the last parking lot to find the group.
We'll walk an out and back route on unpaved paths. Please bring water to hydrate. Wearing light weight long pants, long sleeves good hiking footware and all recommended. Insect repellent is also advised.
Walkers participate at their own risk.
