is a New Wave duo out of Portland, OR. Formed in 2017 by singer/keyboardist Jen Deale and drummer Chris Spicer, the husband-and-wife band launched onto the northwest music scene with their vocal-forward synth-rich pop tunes and dynamic live performance. Happy Mag describes them best: “The duo glide through a cinematic brand of indie-pop that is completely endearing and damn-near mesmerizing.”
Partnering with grammy-nominated engineer & producer Rian Lewis (Doja Cat, Gorillaz, Chromeo, Louis the Child, D.R.A.M.), Camp Crush released their 4th EP Always? in July of 2022 and are set to release their debut full-length album in 2024.
Inspired by bands like The Cure, New Order, Berlin and Blondie, the duo continues to evolve, bridging influences of the past and modern day pop sounds. OPB Music says, “Deale’s booming voice carries the songs while Spicer provides the perfect, steady backbeat, and they exude genuine happiness during every song.”
Heady, hazy, cinematic psych rock
is a band formed in 2021, made up of four musicians currently residing in Portland, OR. Drawing from each member’s inspirations which range from Synth-Pop, Funk and Disco to Americana, Psych-Rock and Rockabilly, Tenants is a bit of an experiment and a true collaborative effort. Their first, self titled EP was released in May 2023.
