
About this Event
Camp Bright Star is a 1-day bereavement camp sponsored by Hospice of Health First for youth and their families who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. Children ages 5 to 12 participate in a camp experience that facilitates emotional support and grief education with fun, interactive camp activities. Activities are led by Hospice of Health First and Bright Star bereavement specialists, registered nurses, and specially trained volunteers. Space is limited.

Fast Facts:
- Registration is only required for campers aged 5 - 12.
- Register soon to secure your campers spot. We do not allow same day registrations.
- Time: 9 am- 2 pm with a family activity from 2 pm -3 pm.
- Guardians and Family members joining us at 2pm do not need to register.
- Cost: free
- Lunch, drinks, and snacks will be provided.
- Please provide breakfast for your child before coming to camp.
- Please ensure your child wears comfortable clothes and sneakers for camp activities.
- Guardians will be required to return at 2pm for a family activity and closing ceremony.
