About this Event
The 826 Valencia Associate board is following last year’s amazing Library and Librations event with a twist: bringing back the joy of childhood with Camp 826.
Sip on nature-themed aromatic drinks that will evoke the memory of sitting in the woods around a campfire. Indulge your sweet tooth with a s’more. Take a break from your camp activities to write a letter home. Bring a knapsack packed with your beloved books to share and take home your next favorite reads from the hundreds of books donated from the Friends of the SF Public Library or those brought by other event attendees.
The event will include DJing by the amazing Mo Kudeki, birria available for purchase, a silent auction featuring donations from tons of San Francisco faves, and much more.
All event proceeds support the programming of 826 Valencia, a nonprofit organization in San Francisco dedicated to supporting under-resourced students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills. To learn more, visit 826valencia.org.
