About this Event
We will be performing repertoire the escuela studied this year with hits from the 1940s with arrangements from orchestras such as Di Sarli, D'Arienzo, Canaro, Calo plus a few Piazzolla classics like Libertango and Oblivion.
We will also have a DJ setlist compiled by DJ Clive Davison and professional tango musicians and teachers from the London Tango Orchestra supporting and performing too.
The doors open at 8pm with a DJ setlist and the live music will start from 8:30pm.
Caminito Tango Orchestra is a type of community 'school ' orchestra based in the tradition from Buenos Aires where amateur players come together once a month to play, rehearse and discover the magic of Argentine tango music through the different styles of the orchestras from the 1920s - 1940s.
