About this Event
Caminando is a powerful gathering and encuentro entre mujeres in celebration of BomPleneras 15th year anniversary and of Afro-Caribbean women rooted in ancestral memory, rhythm, healing, and collective joy. This evening centers women’s voices through live Bomba, Plena, Palo music and storytelling, honoring the wisdom of our elders, the brilliance of our present, and the dreams we are carrying forward together.
Featuring Las BomPleneras & Legacy Women, with storytelling by Melody Capote Executive Director of CCCADI and Ivelisse Diaz Founder of Bompleneras , this is more than a concert it’s a space to reflect and celebrate!
