The father of the pinhole camera, then the Brownie, the Camera Obscura was used by artists to project images onto walls and help them sketch. In this workshop, tamariki create their own Camera Obscura, learning along the way how it captures an image and reflects it back to you, and how that fed into the beginnings of photography.
