The event is one of Cambridge’s longest running and best-loved community traditions, drawing thousands to Midsummer Common to watch together as the night sky is transformed into a breathtaking and magical kaleidoscope of colour and light. As well as the display itself, people can also look forward to an array of food trucks serving delicious street food, plus music & walkabout acts between 6pm-8:30pm. Making a return visit to Cambridge – this time illuminated for Fireworks Night - is Autin Dance Theatre’s spectacular 13-foot puppet from Out of the Blue and five puppeteers, who stopped everyone in their tracks during the summer’s Out of the Ordinary outdoor arts festival.
