Parade:
Cambridge Celebrates Canada Day boasts the longest running and oldest parade celebrating the history and diversity of Canada. It is held annually at Riverside Park in “Preston” Cambridge. Riverside Park is Cambridge’s largest park (102 Hectares).
Fireworks:
Fireworks begin after dusk and are provided by Garden City Fireworks. Last year, it turned out to be the best visual display among all other attractions.
Did you know?
Cambridge Celebrates Canada Day is NOT run by the city. The event is planned and coordinated by a team of volunteers. However, without The City of Cambridge’s support, this event wouldn’t happen!
Is this event free?
Yes, entry into this event is free and many activities are too. However, tickets for rides, food trucks, vendors, hot air balloon rides, adult beverage area, etc, is not free.
