As part of Cambridge Arts Festival Makers Art Fair young visitors and grown-ups can also explore their own creativity. In one area of the hall, local artist Laura Pearson-Clark (Art in the Burrow) will be running a free, relaxed, drop-in workshop inspired by the hidden life of beehives. Beehive Art is suitable for adults and children aged 5+ (no booking required). February is a key moment in the beehive, as new life begins and bees start foraging from early spring flowers. Participants will be invited to contribute to a collaborative honeycomb mural, make paper snowdrops, design their own beehive-shaped homes and observe and draw the early signs of spring.
