Calumet Unlocks Montreal

Calumet College Council is hosting a trip to the heart of the city of Montreal from October 17th to 19th . Students and peers have the opportunity to explore and learn about the city, experience the Montreal lifestyle, food, and entertainment, and best of all, enjoy and relax for the duration of two-night stay. You also have the opportunity to experience one night of dancing, socializing, and mingling with other people while enjoying music in one of the most popular night clubs! We are also providing you metropasses to allow you and your friends to explore the city at your own time.

YOUR TICKET INCLUDES

• Coach Bus Transportation to and from Montreal
• 3 days, 2 nights stay at Sandman Hotel
• 3-day UNLIMITED Metro Transit Pass access throughout Montreal
• (optional with Clubbing ticket) Entry to Rouge Bar + 1 drink ticket

HOTEL DETAILS

• Sandman Hotel Montreal-Longueuil (999 Rue de Sérigny, Montréal, QC J4K 2T1)
• Standard Room: 2 Queen beds per room (Amenities and Details can be found on the Sandman Website: https://www.sandmanhotels.com/montreal-longueuil/rooms)
• 4 person Rooms (Rooming List will be sent out once ticket sales end)
• All students joining the trip will be assigned to a FOUR PERSON Room. You may request to room with friends but all rooms will be filled to capacity so if a group has 2 people, they will be paried with another group of friends.
• NOTE: Accomodations will be made for constituents who opt out of Co-Ed rooming

TRANSPORTATION DETAILS

• Students will be transported to Montreal via coach bus directly to the hotel from Calumet College
• CALUMET TO MONTREAL: Students will gather at Calumet College Room 100 at 7:30AM for a safety briefing and timely bus boarding
• MONTREAL TO CALUMET: Students will gather in the Hotel lobby at10:30am for timely bus boarding
• If you are late and miss the bus, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation.

ROUGE BAR (included with Clubbing Ticket)

• Clubbing tickets are ONLY available for Students 18+
• Students will receive transit passes to ensure safe travel to and from the club
• Clubbing ticket covers cost of entry as well as one free alcoholic beverage (subject to age and preference)
• PLEASE DRINK AND PARTY RESPONSIBLY

WHAT TO BRING

• A waiver form must be completely signed and returned to us in order to confirm your attendance to the trip
• Everyone must bring a valid government ID, and a York U Student ID if you are a York University student
• Extra cash for food and anything else you may want to purchase during the trip
• Appropriate dress according to the weather but wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident!
