CALON, meaning "heart" in Welsh, was the name chosen by this unique duo, who have performed professionally for many years. Mark, a skilled musician and songwriter best known for the 12-string guitar instrumental "Blue House," which went viral on YouTube, resulting in its purchase by Mexico Wagyu beef for their American promotional video, wanted to create a unique live acoustic performance using the beautiful sound of ukuleles. After just a few performances, they were approached and managed by Smiley Miley, the famous Radio One DJ. The Award-Winning husband and wife duo now perform their own original material, plus an acoustic Irish Celtic/ country twist on some very popular covers.
