**Goats, cows, donkeys — even fish hatcheries can use them!**
On December 13th, we placed nearly **400 wreaths** at Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley to honor our veterans as part of **Wreaths Across America**. Now it’s time to remove them, and we’d love to donate them to local farmers.
### 🌿 Why your animals will love these wreaths:
- Made from **Balsam fir (Abies balsamea)** — safe for livestock
- Natural **de‑wormer**
- No chemicals
- Chickens love nesting in them
- After removing bows/rubber bands, you can stack them on a stake and animals will munch for weeks
- Metal frames can be **recycled for cash** once the boughs are gone
### 📍 **Pick‑Up Day**
🗓 **Saturday, January 10th**
⏰ **10:00 AM**
📌 **Pines Cemetery** — 12116 E 16th Ave, Spokane Valley
(South side of 16th, near the veterans wall)
Volunteers and groundskeepers will gather the wreaths and help load your truck or trailer.
