Instructor Jo Anne began her calligraphy journey in the 1980s through college and continuing education courses in Pennsylvania. What began as a fun way to improve her handwriting soon became a lifelong passion, leading to freelance work in custom lettering and design.
In this three-hour session, students will learn the foundations of Black Letter calligraphy, including key tools, strokes, and letterforms. This art form requires patience and precision, making the workshop especially rewarding for adults and teens who enjoy detail-oriented creative work.
