Calligraphy composition workshop

One of the most challenging part of calligraphy is producing balanced composition.

Most of the time you wanted to leave your pen and get out if a table, when you try to center or compose different words on top of each other and It doesn’t seem balanced the work you did.

How about that frustrating feeling you get when you’re adding the final line and you realize that the the word you’re writing is going to far to the right or left resulting b composition or out of balance.

Well, to make a composition, you need to learn and understand many things. So what you are waiting for join me in this workshop where we will be addressing many aspects of composition and structures. Plus addresses command error and mistakes while starting the piece. Plus, I will teach you how to add flourishing too.

Day 1 .

1. What is composition
2. Factor to be considered before beginning
3. Balance and structure
4. Study of ratios

Day 2.

1. How to choose bthe best layout
2. Study if different alignment
3. Study of margin
4. Planning composition for quotes/ paragraphs and poems

Day 3.

1. Hands-on card, invite & certificates composition
2. Making and ideas for menu card composition
3. Composition on physical elements
4. Colour study for composition.

*Material you need to arrange for this workshop*

1. Pencil, Pen and eraser
2. Quality paper like 100 gsm in A4 and A5 size
3. Oblique holder
4. Nibs like Nikko g/ principal ef / hunt 101 /hunt 22 B ( any nib )
5. Ruler or guideline sheets by @oriandcalli
6. Colour ink of your choice
7. Zoom application
8. Good internet speed
