Calligraphy originated in ancient China and has been used globally for nearly as long as written language has existed. Today, even with the existence of technology, calligraphy is still used to add beauty and flair to written communication. This class will teach the basics of lettering in both cursive and print styles. Students will learn what tools are required, how to hold a brush pen, and some basic calligraphy strokes.Professor Celeste Piette
