Join us for our mid-year celebration trip in 2025. Our Mid-Year trip is a favourite in the University of Newcastle community.Whether this is your first or 50th event with us, come along for a fun trip of connecting to nature and meeting new friends.
The trip features mornings of light weeding, bushwalks, educational talks and social time with environmentally conscious students.
We will depart together in a convoy on the 28th of August and our time at Callicoma Hill will end on the 31st.
We encourage students if they have them to bring gloves, and some working tools like secateurs and loppers.
There are two tickets available, for those who wish to camp, and those who wish to stay in the bunkhouse. The tickets also include shared meals for the trip.
We will also host a "get-to-know" the crew pub night before setting off, to brief attendees on expectations and to introduce your excellent vibes to the NUSEC story.
