This free event brings together over 40 local nonprofits, each ready to welcome new volunteers for opportunities ranging from one-day events to ongoing service and even board leadership. Whether you are interested in giving back as a family, expanding your professional impact, or simply finding a cause that resonates, Call to Service makes it easy to take that first step.
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 24th, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Northland Church – The Rink, 522 Dog Track Rd., Longwood, FL 32750. This free event features more than 40 local nonprofits spanning causes like homelessness, food insecurity, education, cultural arts, animal welfare, and more.
This is not a fundraising event. In fact, participating nonprofits are strictly prohibited from soliciting donations. The focus is entirely on connecting residents with volunteer opportunities including options for students and youth, who are encouraged to explore how they can serve and lead in their community. Guests will also enjoy a light breakfast and an inspiring keynote by Dr. Keita Joy, a renowned speaker, executive coach, and motivator known for helping people lead with purpose and authenticity.
