CALL TO ARTIST for Dark X-mas art!

Call to Artists!!!

Submit your artwork to this unique holiday-themed Juried Art Exhibition held December 14 during the Dark X-Mas Market of Vista! We are seeking dark Christmas inspired 2-D pieces that are ready to hang for our December 14th showing in the Backfence Society Gallery in Historic Downtown Vista.

This is a jury selection by The Vista Art Foundation and Twisted Heart Puppetworks and must fit the themes of Krampus, winter folklore, dark Christmas, Yule, and other adjacent holiday folk characters and or scenes.

We are accepting pieces no larger than 24” x 24” that are able to be hung on a wall - mask work and photography is acceptable. Submission deadline is November 30, 2024.
To be considered for a space in our gallery, please follow the submission guidelines below:
SUBMISSION DETAILS
Send a clear picture of your artwork, a description, and its dimensions to [email protected]. Then send your one time artist fee of $10 to our artist submission Eventbrite link. Please only submit ONE piece per artist.

You will be alerted if your piece has been chosen by Dec. 3rd and be given drop-off details.
