National College of Dance proudly presents Call of the Wild - an unforgettable celebration of strength, freedom and the untamed spirit within us all. This breathtaking end-of-year production brings together over 300 dancers of all ages, weaving an exhilarating journey through the wilderness where nature’s beauty and power collide with the heartbeat of human expression.Through stunning choreography, captivating storytelling and spectacular staging, Call of the Wild explores themes of survival, courage and connection - reminding us that the call to return to our roots is one that lives in us all. With Artistic Direction by Brett Morgan OAM and original choreography by NCD faculty Brett Morgan, Timothy Gordon, Brett Morgan, Debbie Linnert, Jacinta De Palo, Mia Brace, Olivia Dent, Maddie Gibson, and Jane Evans, audiences will experience a breathtaking fusion of classical and contemporary dance, powerful ensemble work, and moments of pure artistry that showcase the extraordinary talent of our students.
Accompanied by original music performed by composer, violinist, and pianist Cyrus Meurant, with percussion by Jess Ciampa, narration by Gordon Weiss and set by acclaimed artist Brett McMahon Call of the Wild is more than a dance concert — it’s a sensory journey through sound, movement, and imagination.
