CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: Humanitarian Ecoconstruction ProjectEmpowering Local Economy & Ecological Transition with Natural Solutions
We are inviting volunteers to join our Ecoconstruction Project this season (March/April 2025) at the Mandalam RiverSoundFarm (MM RSF), an EcoYogaFarm&Community situated above Rishikesh.
The MM RSF Project takes place in a wider perspective, as our Mandalam Solidarity Dynamic (MM) focuses on Sustainable Building&Agriculture, Interactive Learning, Ecological Transition, Yogic Art of Living, and Empowering the Local People&Economy through Natural&Ethical Solutions. As a MM “Pilot-Project”, the RiverSoundFarm represents the occasion to elaborate and create together a model of Sustainable EcoYogaFarm we could later adapt to other places, in order to create a Network of such Mandalam EcoYogaFarms in India, and in the World.
Join our Mandalam Solidarity Dynamic&Community and be part of the inaugural season of Building Works of this very first and very important MM EcoProject above Rishikesh, near the Ganges and at the foot of the Himalayas:
We are seeking the following types of volunteers:
1. Unskilled/Low-skilled Workers – Learn the art of Ecoconstruction by participating in hands-on work, guided by experienced professionals.
2. Skilled Workers – If you have prior experience in Ecoconstruction, we welcome you to share your skills while continuing your learning journey. Contribute to this solidarity-based project as you deepen your expertise.
Various participatory options available (for 1 & 2):
o Formula A: 7 hours/day of participative work, with FREE full board & accommodation (food + nice tent) + FREE Ecobuilding Workshops + Yoga & Meditation Classes.
o Formula B: 3.5 hours/day of participative work, with a donation-based contribution for full board & accommodation, Ecobuilding Workshops, and Yoga & Meditation classes.
o Other options are possible, based on the volunteer needs and proposals, to be discussed and defined together. For example, it is also possible to join the Food & Catering Team, as well as other specific activities related to the ongoing construction work.
3. Architects, Site Managers, Ecoconstruction Experts, Green Designers, and Bioclimatic Solutions Specialists – Participate in our long-term, participatory "EcoBuilding Mandala/Laboratory," offering your knowledge to ongoing projects and initiating new ones. Opportunities include:
o Creative involvement in the March/April 2025 season.
o Potential partnership opportunities for future involvement in the cycle of participatory projects, with possibilities for compensation based on collaboration proposals.
