Join us as a volunteer judge at the 2025 Edmonton Regional Heritage Fair! Like a Science Fair but for Social Studies, the Edmonton Regional Heritage Fair is an annual event for Edmonton-area students in Grades 4 through 9 where they present a research project of their choosing from the broad category of Canadian heritage.
Students are interviewed and adjudicated by at least 3 members of the local heritage & education community who provide in-person and written feedback to the students.
What qualifications do I need to volunteer as a judge?
- an interest in history/education and the willingness to share that with others.
- active listening skills.
- kindness. We are all about celebrating student and historical curiosity!
A light breakfast, judges orientation, and rubrics will be provided on the day of the fair.
