CALL FOR ART: Mini artworks for the November exhibit at HIVE artspace in York, PA.Submission Period: October 1 through October 15 (by midnight).
Exhibit dates: November 7-29, 2025.
Special Event: November 29 - Small Business Saturday
Seeking mini artworks for the November exhibit at HIVE artspace. Open subject, but artwork must not exceed 6" in any direction (including any framing). All mediums are welcome for submission.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
There is no fee to submit artwork for consideration. Submitting artwork does not guarantee acceptance into the exhibit. All artists will receive notification the week after the submission deadline, whether their artwork was selected or not.
SUBMISSION NOTES:
• Up to 4 submissions allowed. See important note below regarding submission images.
• There is no fee to submit, but there is a $5 exhibit fee for accepted artists ($5 total regardless of number of artworks accepted.)
• Gallery Commission is 35% on artworks sold.
• Final artwork must be ready-to-hang/display, we use single nail hanging on most works (sawtooth hangers ok).
TO SUBMIT (please read carefully):
Please send ONE E-MAIL with subject line MINI2025 to [email protected] with the following items:
• SUBMISSION IMAGES: Up to 4 submissions in low-resolution jpeg format (no larger than 3MB). Images must clearly represent the work, as these images will be used in the accompanying on-line gallery. Watch for glare / background clutter, photographing them against a white or solid colored wall is best for our use. Indirect natural light will give you the truest colors and nicest lighting for your images. Please get them as "square" in the frame as possible.
• Title, medium, size*, price (in that order) for each artwork submitted. *Please include actual artwork size AND framed size as applicable.
• Your name + city & state as it should appear on exhibit materials.
• Any time constraints you may have, i.e. shipping, printing, or framing time needed.
• Link to more of your artwork on-line (optional, but highly recommended).
• Any other places in York, PA where you will have work on display during the exhibit timeframe.

• Deadline for submissions: October 15 by midnight.
• Drop-off for accepted artwork: November 1-2.
• Exhibit Opens: First Friday November 7, 5-9pm.
• Exhibit dates: November 7-29, 2022.
• End of show artwork pick-up: November 30.
