About this Event
THE COLLECTIVE: We are a new community of Bay Area jazz artists, music-lovers and art enthusiasts seeking to awaken more beauty, love, and justice for the world through Jazz.
CALL AND RESPONSE: An Immersive Jazz Experience that is more than just a concert—it’s a dynamic, interactive journey into the heart of jazz as a conversation. Rooted in the tradition of musical dialogue, this event invites the audience to become part of the experience, engaging with the musicians through rhythm, movement, and singing. Together we will explore the power of musical exchange, blending spontaneous improvisation with classic jazz storytelling. Whether you're a longtime jazz lover or a curious newcomer, come ready to listen, respond, and connect through the universal language of music. And because Jazz is 90% improvised, it’s a new experience every night, and the music you will hear at this concert you will never hear again. So you can sit back, relax, groove in your seat and enjoy the journey!
