Update: 8/24/2021
We are just few days away from the 2021 California Rum Festival (CRF)
We have participated as an attendee in events that have done a phenomenal job (both staff, exhibitors, attendees, etc) to keep everyone safe. Now our turn is coming up for the California Rum Festival and we all need to work together to keep all of us safe.
We humbly ask that you review the protocols below and our health and safety requirements and ensure you can comply with them in full.
In accordance with the “San Francisco’s Safer Return Together Health Order” we have revised our admission protocols for the CRF. Everyone in attendance –visitors, exhibitors, vendors, media, speakers and staff MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED TO BE GRANTED ADMISSION TO CRF.
Show management reserves the right to remove any individual who is not in compliance with the requirements.
ON AUG 21ST, THE CITY OF SAN FRANCISCO UPDATED THE “SAN FRANCISCO’S SAFER RETURN TOGETHER HEALTH ORDER“.
VACCINE REQUIRED
As of August 20, you must show proof of vaccination to go into bars, restaurants, clubs, and gyms.
SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION
You will need to show proof that you have been vaccinated to go indoors in some places in San Francisco, like:
Bars
Restaurants
Clubs
Gyms
Large indoor events
Any business or event serving food or drinks indoors
In these places everyone 12 and older will need to show proof of vaccination. You will still need to wear a mask, even if you are vaccinated.
You can not use a self-attestation of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. You must have proof that you are vaccinated. “Full Vaccination” means two weeks after your final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
We’re requiring vaccines to protect everyone against the continued spread of COVID-19. We want to cut down the spread of COVID-19 and keep San Francisco businesses open.
You can show your Vaccination Record Card (CRC) from the CDC. Or you can show an image of the card, if you have a picture on your phone. Or you can use a digital COVID-19 vaccine record issued by the State of California. You can also use an approved private app to verify your vaccination status.
If you don’t have your card, find out other ways to verify you have been vaccinated.
The following companies provide digital vaccine cards approved for use by San Francisco businesses:
• Bindle (businesses using this must also check against a photo ID)
• CLEAR HealthPass
• CommonPass (businesses using this must also check against a photo ID)
• VaxYes (using their level 2 verification)
• University of Colorado Health App: UCHealth (businesses using this must also check against a
photo ID)
• UCSF MyChart (businesses using this must also check against a photo ID)
California Rum Festival Vaccination Requirements
Everyone will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine in order to attend and participate at 2021 California Rum Fest and must show proof of vaccination at their time of entry. “Fully vaccinated” means the date of the event you are attending must be:
at least 14 days after your second dose (must have been administered on or by August 28, 2021) to attend on Sept 11 of a FDA or WHO authorized two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or
at least 14 days after your single dose (must have been administered on or by August 28, 2021) to attend on Sept 11 of a FDA or WHO authorized single dose COVID-19 vaccine.
Proof of vaccination must come directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination. Guests can display a digital vaccine card approved by SF business or present a physical copy of their vaccination card.
Additional Requirements
Everyone must also present a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport confirming the participant is over the age of 21 and the name on the photo ID must match the name on the document(s) listed above.

that you are:
fully vaccinated, meaning at the time you are attending the Event it has been at least fourteen (14) days since:
your second dose in a 2-dose COVID-19 vaccine series approved by the FDA or by the WHO, such as the Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccines, or
your single dose of a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine approved by the FDA or by the WHO, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
All FULLY VACCINATED attendees MUST provide each of the following to Management prior to entry into the Event:
a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport; and
proof of vaccination as explained above.
If you believe you will not be able to present the CDC Vaccine Card, we would gladly refund your money as long as you notify us via email ([email protected]) by Aug 31st, 2021 at 11:59pm PST.
