The Passive House Network is pleased to announce that the California Rebuilds Design Competition Awards will be presented on the evening of November 4th at the AIA Los Angeles Center for Communities. Housed in a renovated Neo-Classical building from 1927, the Center is a hub for the LA design community and a community space for non-profit organizations.
Located at 4450 W Adams Boulevard, the Center is centrally located, with access by the nearby E & K Metro Rail lines, as well as a short drive from all directions.
The doors will open at 5:30 pm. In addition to the awards announcement, the event will include a panel discussion about designing and building fire-resilient communities with panelists from an array of perspectives. A reception with drinks and light food will follow.
