D & K Sharpening will be sharpening on site Scissors, Pinking Shears, Rotary Blades, Knives and a few Lawn and Garden tools fortwo days at the Salvation Army Community Center gym in Independence. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Admission and parking are free. Concessions available for purchase. This is a non-juried show featuring quilts and quilted projects. There's an Opportunity Quilt raffle with the drawing at the end of Saturday. Two Opportunity Baskets raffled with a drawing at the end of each day for one of the baskets. There will be demonstrations both days and vendors. See less
