Calgirls Club Polar Gala for Make a Wish

We will be hosting a black tie charity Christmas gala raising money for Make a Wish Foundation. We’re usually all about creating experiences just for the girls, but in the spirit of the holiday’s, we’re opening up our event to everyone! This gala is about breaking the mold of what’s traditionally been a corporate and exclusive affair.

We believe everyone deserves the chance to dress up, feel extraordinary, and be part of a night that truly makes a difference. Join us for a memorable evening where we’ll celebrate together, united by a shared purpose, in an experience that’s inclusive, impactful, and open to all.

There will be giveaways, silent auctions (including a private yacht experience in Mallorca!), live music and more.

A note from Make A Wish

At Make-A-Wish Canada, we are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life. Our mission is simple, but so impactful to the children and families we support. Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. A wish is much more than a nice to have. It is an essential component of a child's treatment journey.

Whether visiting a theme park or riding the range, kids find in their wish a chance to forget their medical burdens. Embracing their once-in-a-lifetime wish sparks a renewed determination and strength for them, their parents, and community partners who help make those wishes come true. A child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes in Canada. With three new children facing critical illnesses each and every hour, our need for donations is continuous. There are currently over 200 children in Southern Alberta waiting for their wish to be granted. Throughout all the uncertainty, one thing has remained constant: every child's wish begins with the hope. When a wish child has something to look forward to, everything begins to change.
