Calgary AB- The 11th Annual Calgary Horror Con is back celebrating the 35th anniversary of Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The convention consists of 150 horror vendors a full international film festival panels celebrity signings and photo ops.
Not only are the cast and creators of Killer Klowns from Outer Space in attendance the new Michael Myers- James Jude Courtney (Halloween 2018 Halloween Kills Halloween Ends) Ghostface from the original Scream and Peter Cowper who played the Miner in the cult Canadian classic My Bloody Valentine are joining.
A couple of the main film features this year include: "Woodland Grey" from Canada- a haunting thriller and "Pig Killer" from the USA about the true events of one of the most brutal Canadian serial killers Robert Pickton. "Gnomes" from the Netherlands is a featured short that is so unhinged and entertaining that Sony will be turning it into a feature film.
The convention kicks off in the basement of the Hilton DoubleTree on Friday June 16th for the VIP Party starting at 9 pm. The night includes celebrity meet and greets a White Hat Ceremony live performances from local talent and musical acts. The Calgary Horror Con runs daily on June 17th and 18th from 11 am – 7 pm.
