Welcome to the Calgary Fire Department Run with a Recruiter and Information Session!
Come join us Tuesday October 7th for a fun and informative event at Calgary Fire Department station 16 located @4124 11th st SE. This is your chance to meet with our recruiters, learn about the exciting opportunities available at the Calgary Fire Department, and participate in a workout to get a taste of what it's like to be a firefighter.
Whether you're considering a career in firefighting or just curious to learn more about what we do, this event is perfect for you. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with our team and get all your questions answered. We look forward to seeing you there!
Important information:
- Bring photo ID. Participants must be 18 years old
- Waivers and consent forms will be sent out prior to the event using the registered email address. These must be printed and completed prior to ID check-in.
- Attendees are encouraged to wear/bring gym clothing, a mat, indoor shoes and a water bottle.
- This is an indoor event and recruitment officers will meet you at the front door of this location to let you in. Please be on time and DO NOT ring the doorbell to the firehall. An Officer will at the doorway between 0615-0640hrs to let you in. After that, the door will be locked and no entry will be permitted.
- See map attached and park only in designated areas labelled GREEN
- If you register and can no longer attend, please log back in to cancel your ticket so someone else has an opportunity to attend
- If the event is sold out, log back in regularly as there may be cancellations; we do not keep a wait list
