Our annual Apple Day! This will be held in the McHattie Room at Saughton Park with, hopefully, some activities taking place outside in the courtyard if the weather is kind.Come along to see the fantastic display of apples, many of which are Scottish heritage varieties from National Trust for Scotland gardens around the country. There are so many varieties of apples that you just don't see on supermarket shelves but taste delicious, so come along and find out more about them. Hopefully we will inspire you to grow some apples in your own garden.
This is a free event and is open to all.
If you would like us to try and identify the apples from your own tree, please bring along a minimum of 5 fruits. Having multiple fruits makes it easier to make an identification. This service is available for a donation.
