All welcome at this traditional Cajun session.Our monthly get together hosted by The Cotton Mouth Cajun Band where all are welcome to bring themselves along and join in making communal music.
Cajun music is from Louisianna but it’s influence has spread through many genres over time. Usually led by an accordion player, other typical instruments would include fiddle, guitar, double bass, voice & triangle. But our session isn’t picky, bring down whatever you play, there’s a place for you!
Cajun music is made to be danced to, so don’t worry if you’re if you’re not musically endowed, the dancing is equally important & you’ll always find a willing partner.
Live music at The Caledonia are always free to attend. No reservation needed.
