About this Event
We invite you to experience 3-days of African Diaspora dance forms, shekere playing, song/vocal work, body conditioning, Orisha dance, and soul line dance in an energetic three-day workshop with Calabasa Calabasa Director Andrea E. Woods Valdés, and guest faculty: Ra’Chel Fowler, Lana Garland, Shana Tucker, and Oesa Vinesett and accompanists Bashir Shakur and Beverly Botsford.
Shekeres provided but you are welcom to bring your own!
Friday-Sunday, July 26-28, 2024 (Participants attend all three days)
Friday 7/26 - 6pm-8:30pm
