About this Event
The Cal Poly Alumni — San Luis Obispo Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Woodstock's Pizza in downtown San Luis Obispo (1000 Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401).
Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.
This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, meet members of the Alumni Engagement team and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly.
Tickets are $15 and include Woodstock's pizza, salad, breadsticks, one drink ticket for alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and a special swag item. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni and guests of all ages.
Space is limited. Secure your spot today!
We hope to see you there!
