About this Event
Cal Poly alumni and friends are invited to celebrate Cal Poly’s founding from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Western Collective (111 W 33rd St, Garden City, ID 83714).
Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.
This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly.
The event is free to attend, but registration is requested to ensure an accurate head count for this year’s limited-edition Cal Poly Founders Day swag. Beverages will be available for purchase. The event is open to Cal Poly alumni and guests of all ages.
Space is limited. Registration closes on Thursday, March 5 or when sold out.
We hope to see you there!
